Why Online Giving?

Whether you'd like to give a single gift, schedule ongoing donations, or view your giving history, you can do it all online. It's quick, easy and secure.

Currently you can directly debit your checking or savings account (electronic check) or use your Visa, Mastercard, or Discover debit or credit card. In following Biblical principals for managing our money, North Addison Baptist Church does not encourage using credit cards in a way that increases consumer debt. Please also consider when choosing to pay online with a debit or credit card that approximately 3% of your online giving amount will go toward transaction fees. There are no percentage fees related to electronic check transaction.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a login and password to give online?

No, you can give a donation without creating an account. However, if you want to create a repeating gift or track your giving, you will need to create an account.

When may I use the online giving system?

The system is available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week, from anywhere you can access our website. Simply click on the "Online Giving" button on the left hand side of the page.

Which account do I choose?
Choose General Fund for your tithe and any of the other items from the drop-down menu for designated gifts. If you don't see your designation, select "Other" from the drop down menu and specify your designation in the comment box.

How long will it take for the transaction to post to my account?
You should receive a confirmation message from the Online Giving page indicating that your contribution was successful. This starts the transaction processing, and your account should be debited for the amount you choose within 3 business (banking) days.

Can I schedule recurring donations?
Yes, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

Will I still receive a contribution statement?
Yes, we will prepare an annual giving record as normal by January 31st of the following year.

What if I change credit cards or want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?
You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution as long as it has not posted into your account yet, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount.

Is online giving secure?
We've taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for "Secure Socket Layer," a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions. The service is provided by a local company and no financial information is stored on the church computers.
